Scope

These terms cover the Urban Pixels websites, including www.urbanpixels.com, and the Brand EQ service at brandeq.urbanpixels.com, including the Brand EQ WordPress plugin and related hosted features. Brand EQ is a brand of Urban Pixels, LLC. The same terms apply to general website visits and use of Brand EQ. A signed agreement, statement of work or order form may set additional terms for the services it covers; those written terms govern those services if they conflict with this page.

Using the Urban Pixels websites

Use our websites lawfully and do not interfere with their operation, attempt unauthorized access, or misuse forms, accounts or other features. Website materials are provided for general information. A separate written agreement is required for consulting, development or other client services.

Brand EQ accounts and authorization

Provide accurate registration information and use Brand EQ only for websites and content you are authorized to manage. Keep credentials and API keys secure. You are responsible for activity through your account and for promptly reporting unauthorized access. Do not share credentials publicly or use the service to bypass another person’s permissions.

Service plans and trials

Brand EQ provides hosted brand analysis, scoring, prompts and generation. Availability, supported models and usage limits depend on the plan shown in your account and on the pricing page. Review the price, billing frequency, renewal, cancellation and any refund terms shown at checkout before purchasing. An optional hosted-service trial does not require installing a premium plugin automatically. When a trial ends, continued free-plan use is subject to that plan’s service limits.

Generation through your own WordPress AI connector may incur charges from the provider you select. Those charges and provider accounts are governed by your agreement with that provider. Optional Pro plugins or other add-ons are obtained and installed separately.

Your content and AI output

You retain your rights in the content you submit. You authorize Urban Pixels and the service providers needed to fulfill your requests to process that content for service delivery and support, subject to the applicable privacy notice and agreements. Do not submit content that infringes another person’s rights or contains confidential or personal information you are not permitted to share.

AI-generated output can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, similar to other output or unsuitable for your intended use. Review and edit all content before publishing. You are responsible for factual claims, permissions, disclosures and compliance associated with your published content. Brand EQ does not guarantee originality, copyright protection, search rankings, sales or any particular business result. AI output is not a substitute for qualified professional advice.

Acceptable use

Do not use the websites or service for unlawful activity, deception, infringement, harassment, malicious code or attempts to compromise accounts, infrastructure or safeguards. Do not misuse API keys, evade service limits or interfere with other users. Connected AI providers may impose additional acceptable-use requirements.

Software licensing and external services

The free Brand EQ plugin distributed through WordPress.org is licensed under GPLv2 or later, with third-party components under their stated compatible licenses. Brand EQ Pro is a separate paid add-on; its price and applicable terms, including license, support and updates, will be provided with the product when offered. Those terms do not take away rights that apply under an open-source license to code included in or derived from the free plugin or WordPress. These website terms govern access to the hosted service and use of the websites; they do not restrict rights granted by the free plugin’s license. Access to the hosted service is separate from the plugin license. WordPress, hosting, payment and AI provider services remain subject to their own terms.

Availability and account closure

Website and service availability depends on network connections, providers and maintenance. Keep independent backups of your website and content. We may restrict access to address abuse, security risks or violations of these terms. You may stop using the service and contact us about account closure; stopping use or uninstalling the plugin does not itself cancel a paid subscription or delete hosted account records. Follow the cancellation process provided with your subscription.

Privacy, changes and contact

Our single Privacy Policy describes information handled through the Urban Pixels websites and Brand EQ. We may revise these terms as the websites and service change. For questions, contact Urban Pixels.
